6 Tie another knot about 3cm (11/4in) from the first and thread on five beads. Tie a knot above them to secure then tie the end of the cord to the ring with a double knot. Repeat with the other cords. To add the second fish on the central string, you will need to push the needle all the way through the first fish. The two outer cords need to be shorter than the centre cord.

7 For the starfish, take the remaining piece of cord and attach from a point in the same way. Add three large beads and tie a double knot at the hoop, close to the top bead.
